Was looking for a $2 snack for my tea break in the afternoon and walked past a durian stall in Bugis.
Out of the various packs of durian on sale, the $2 pack of durian looked satisfying enough.
When asked for a $2 pack, the durian man tried to push for a $5 pack and made a comment:
"$2 bo ho (No good), stale already, get $5 one better"
My reply: " Since no good, buy for what. Thank you."
The durian man is crazy.

sigh, it means $2 cheap - he can't earn much. buy $5 - earn more. silly boy. but he is also equally blur. cos how can he be so blunt to say that his $2 durians aren't good?
well, bottomline: everyone is desperate for money.
