Hi to the 10 years later me!

It’s 21 July 2006 at 2300hr.

Dress up well. Take a seat and place a digital camera in front of you.

Look into the lens, smile and start recording from the digital camera.

You are about to do a recording of what you want to tell yourself exactly 10 years later on 21 July 2016. What do you want to tell to yourself 10 years later?

“Hi, the 10 years older me. Remember me - the 10 years ago you in 13 July 2006, how are you doing?

Except in your memory, guess this is the only time you see me again in person!

Are our parents still around? I really hope that they are. Please don’t be sad if they have already ended their sufferings on Earth.

No matter what is happening to you now. Don’t get dishearten if things are down.

Re-summon the similar fighting spirit inside us 10 years ago. With our confidence and endurance, nothing can stop you. You can make it! Pressure can either thrust you up or push you down. You are the master of pressure, tame him well to serve you.

Remember our motto: “ We do not have nothing. We have our hands. Use our hands to build our future.” Keep up the spirit.

Food creation!

The mind drifted back to the hostel days and recalled the times where I did my own food creation.

Creation 1: Beer Float
Beer is best drink when it is cold. In Singapore climate, a icy cold beer will turn warm in a short while. Adding ice cubes will just dilute the beer.Beer has a taste taste, ice cream is sweet. So,
Step 1: Add a few scoops of ice-cream to a mug of beer!
Step 2: The melting ice cream keeps the beer cool, dilutes the bitter taste and makes the mixture more foamy

Experience with many flavours and concluded that durian ice cream gave the best combination whilst chocolate ended up ... ...

Creation 2: Watermelon fudge
Usually had a tub of ice cream in my fridge and brought a whole watermelon once a week. The watermelon will lose it water contents and turn sloggy if it is left in the fridge for too long.
What to do with the leftover watermelon?
1) Dice or slice the watermelon into smaller pieces.
2) Place the watermelon into a bowl and spread the ice cream over it
3) Allow the ice cream to melt into semi-liquid state
4) Place the bowl back into the freezer
