ASK, before you bite

Walked into the convenience stall located at Buangkok MRT station.

On the food display counter, the curry puff was priced at $0.60.
There was a hand written note that the price would be increased by $0.10 due to rising flour price and requested for our kind understanding.

At the counter, the cashier demanded $1 for it. When referred to the price tag of $0.60, his reply was that they were too busy to change the price tag. Too bad that I had taken a bite, if not i would have walked away from the deal.

Yeah! Too busy to change price tag but free enough to put up that hand-written note!

Hence, lesson learnt is to ask before you do anything, especially in a shop runs by Indian.
A British saying: When run into an indian and a snake, shoot the Indian first.

An island

Life is like an island. Friends are like ships

Ships landed on the island to refill. After they got what they want, they leave the island.

Those who love the Island, they remained behind and lived on the island

Angel fish at my home

My parents just brought 13 angel fish to rear in my home aquarium.

Strange creatures are theses 13 angel fish.
All 13 of them just flocked together and move in a school.
Then suddenly, all of them would disperse and move in all direction, apparently in fear, whenever we make some noises. Days later, they started to spread up and ignore any noises.

Reflecting on them, human behaves in a like manner.

When one lands on a foreign land, one tends to look for similar race and origin to feel safety. That's why Chinatowns were formed over all the world for the Chinese.

Any slight changes would cause great fear. For example, one from an non-earthquake region in Malaysia would be overwhelm in fear when one first encounters an earthquake in Japan.

Beforehand, there's shaking, I better hide under the table.
After acclimating, the fear factor drops. earthquake? The shaking would stop soon while I continue to watch my TV.

Like that also can?

An American move is shown in the German Film Festival.
The firm is considered as German because the Director is a German.

Hmmm, follow the same school of thoughts.

1) If the designer is a Singapore working for a foreign country from said, France, is the final product a French Product or a Singapore Product?

2) A Permanent Resident from Thailand is working in Singapore for 10 years. Is is married in Singapore, is he considered a Thai or Singaporean then?

He is still a Thai living in Singapore, with the freedom to return to Thailand as a citizen!
