X'mas 2005

I hope to spend a peaceful and quiet X'mas 2005.
Just spent a quiet dinner with my love one in Arab street and had desserts in the SAM.
What a heaven I'm in as though I have tamed time and chaos.
No noise from the countdown with people partying away.
No shoving in the crowded street.
No sight of the idiotic doing funny stuff they think is cool, in the hot weather of Singapore.

Retailers have already master the spell of gift exchange, enchanting the consumers to buy and buy.
Do the kids still believe in Santas Claus giving them gift only they are nice?
Kids do not hope for X'mas gift no more, they simply demand for them.
X'mas is about sharing, that's why the Charities are busy asking for donations.
